ENPA General Assembly to be held in Stockholm in May

BRUSSELS, 17 April 2009 - The ENPA Spring General Assembly will be held in Stockholm this 4-5 May. Following the Executive Committee meeting on Monday afternoon, a Public Working Session has been organised with representatives from Swedish national ministries involved in the topics ENPA follow at the European level, in order for ENPA to inform them of European publishers positions, as well as to understand the Swedish national positions in advance of the Presidency which commences on 1st July.

In the evening delegates will be joined by Ms Lena Adelsohn Liljeroth, Swedish Minister of Culture, for a formal dinner at the Berns Salon.

Amongst other things, ENPA aim to present to a very thorough overview of the key issues at the moment, of which there are many, with an opportunity for discussion, present our Annual Review 2008 and Internal Policy Issues File 2009, as well as discuss coordinated European-national action to inform and educate incoming Members of the European Parliament of newspaper publisher’s key issues.
