The Cyprus Newspapers and Magazines Publishers’ Association” was established in 1982 by twenty two publishers who subscribed its constitution. Membership of the association is currently fifteen. The Council consists of seven members, six coming from daily newspapers voted for by all members and one from weekly newspapers voted for by all members. The Chairman, Deputy Chairman, Treasurer and Secretary are elected by the members of the Council.
