Danish Newspaper Publishers’ Association

The Danish Newspaper Publishers’ Association is the common platform for all Danish daily for trade issues and policies. Its mission is to ensure a legal framework and practice as free as possible for editorial and commercial practices of the daily press.

To this end, the DDF defends the views and common interests of the newspaper at bodies such as the Folketing (Danish Parliament), government, central government and other authorities such as the European Union. Moreover, it also maintains relationships with other media groups, institutions involved in training the media, the advertising industry, etc.

The DDF has three departments: the negotiating body of the DDF, local newspapers (DD) and QRP.DK.

As an association of Danish Employers Newspapers, the DDF is part of the Danish Confederation of Employers. It promotes the interest of all persons engaged in newspapers, trading conditions and labour relations. Most Danish newspapers to that effect are members of the DDFF.

Finally, the DDF informs and advises their members on legal affairs and organises regular conferences for the sector of the daily press.
