Athens Daily Newspaper Publishers Association
The Athens Daily Newspaper Publishers Association was founded in 1951 by the 11 major dailies published in the Athens area. They were in effect at the time, most of the Greek national press.
The ADNPA has rapidly become the leading association of Greek press. Currently it is twenty-six members strong and represents fifteen political daily, five economic and six daily sports newspapers. The dissemination of these reached over 500,000 copies daily.
The Association aims to improve the functioning of the Greek press by the defence of the professional and economic interests of daily newspapers in Athens.
